Dr. John Hildenbrand

John C. Hildenbrand, M.D., is a Louisiana native who has brought his extensive orthopaedic surgical training to south Louisiana. Dr. Hildenbrand earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans and completed a five year residency in the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center's Department of Orthopaedics. Following his residency, Dr. Hildenbrand spent an additional year in fellowship training with some of the most prestigious and highly regarded hand and elbow surgeons in the world at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

John C. Hildenbrand, M.D., is a member of The American Association of Hand Surgery, The American Society of Surgery of the Hand, The American Society of Peripheral Nerve, The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and The American Medical Association. He is also a member of the Louisiana Medical Society, the Lafourche Parish Medical Society, and the Louisiana Orthopaedic Society.

He has conducted a variety of research projects and has written several publications on hand and wrist surgery, including several textbook chapters.

Dr. Hildenbrand's practice provides the best operative and non-operative care for general orthopaedic needs and hand, wrist, and elbow problems. His knowledge of advanced treatments using the newest proven techniques offers patients the highest quality of care for their upper extremity needs. Dr. Hildenbrand has extensive experience treating children, adults, athletes, artists, musicians, and laborers.
